The Gold Standard in Q-Switched Laser Technology
For the past 15 years Wontech have been producing wonderful Q-Switched lasers, the ATR series has remained the original and best Q-Switched Laser Technology available. With its outstanding results, great design and reliable technology, it is currently rewriting what we can do with a Q-Switched laser for the treatment of pigmented lesions.
High Power Output
A continuous and consistent energy output with stable power is made possible by a newly-designed laser head. This allows the user the confidence in power delivery throughout the whole treatment. The ATRS energy output is 1,600mJ @ 1064nm and 500mj @ 532nm - 3,500mJ @ Genesis.
PTP Mode (Photoacoustic Twice Pulse)
The ATRS adopts the Photoacoustic Twice Pulse mode, which constantly delivers twin-pulsed, high-output energy at very short intervals. As a pulse is divided into two, a lesser risk for injury to the surrounding tissue, lesser pain during treatments and a quicker healing time is made possible. Treatments with PTP mode are also associated with less hypopigmentation, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and other adverse effects.
PTP mode provides a more comfortable experience for the patient compared to single pulses of energy.
New Laser hand pieces 660nm and 585nm wavelengths allow the ATR to treat stubborn and difficult to remove light green and light blue ink.
COLOUR TATTOO REMOVAL
(Optional) Fractional Hand Piece
An optional fractional hand piece with a spot size adjustable from 5×5 – 9x9mm decreases thermal damage in the dermis and allows for quicker healing and recovery time.
Perfect Top Hat Beam Profile
The ATR has a precise top hat beam profile allowing it’s super high speed light to smash tattoo ink. The Top Hat Beam profile delivers energy squarely without a dip or rise at any point during treatment. Unlike other Q-Switched lasers on the market, the ATR produces an ongoing stable beam profile allowing it to successfully smash and breakdown tattoo inks consistently.
GENESIS Mode – FR
The ATRS has Genesis mode – the pulse duration is increased to 320ns of light speed. This allows the ATRS to perform Laser Genesis which is a popular treatment for skin rejuvenation and collagen stimulation for improvement of the skin’s tone and texture.

The Original China Doll Laser Facial
When performing the China Doll Laser facial a layer of carbon is applied on the entire face. A carbon lotion is applied to the skin and allowed to dry over a period of 15 minutes. Then, the Pastelle laser is used to heat and cause an implosion of the carbon particles the laser light is absorbed by the carbon paste focusing the laser energy on the epidermis. As the laser moves across the skin the carbon paste is gently vacuumed up, exfoliating the skin and removing any debris in pores. The treatment minimises pore sizes and the thermal effect of the laser beam stimulates collagen renewal. The treatment is comfortable and only a minor sensation similar to pins and needles is felt.
This treatment creates a porcelain dolls complexion, is non-invasive and very gentle to the skin. Most people describe the sensation as a light tingling feeling. Some of the benefits from the China Doll Laser Facial using the Pastelle laser are:
- Improvement in pore size
- Improvement in active acne
- Increased tone of the skin
- Collagen and elastin stimulation
- A cleaner complexion
- Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
- Tightens dilated pores
- Reduces acne, scars and post acne discolouration
- Removes dead skin cells from the superficial epidermal layer
- Improves skin texture
- Restores skin integrity and radiance
- Nevus of Ota
- PIH (Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation)
- Tattoo Removal

What is the difference between regular lasers and Q-Switched lasers?
Lasers utilise a single wavelength to deliver energy to target tissue. Common targets in skin are pigment, blood and water. Q-Switched lasers are a special category of lasers that can deliver energy in extremely short bursts. As a result, this unique property makes it an ideal laser for treating pigment-related conditions such as freckles, sunspots, birthmarks or tattoos. The ultra-short bursts of energy delivered by the laser disrupt the pigment-containing cells within the skin, leading to fading and clearing of the treated area.
How does the Cosjet ATR Q-Switched laser rejuvenate the skin?
A recent application of the Q-Switched laser is skin toning and rejuvenation. The whole face is treated a number of sessions at intervals of 1–4 weeks. Compared to other forms of rejuvenation, there is minimal down-time associated with the Cosjet ATR. The considerable energy delivered by the Cosjet can also remodel the skin’s collagen layer and improve the skin’s overall texture.
What happens after treatment and how long will the results last?
Slight redness of the treated area is common and subsides in a few hours. Results for tattoo removal are permanent as the ink in the tattoo is shattered and removed from the body. For laser toning and genesis, results last for up to months with continued improvement in skin tone and texture with repeat treatments.
